Hong Kong Disneyland

This was my first time visit Hong Kong Disneyland. Although there were a lot of negative feedback on Hong Kong Disneyland, but I still enjoyed my visit there. I managed to find back my childhood memories in HK Disneyland. I spent a lot of times taking photos with Disney characters such as Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh and etc.. However I still managed to visit all the parks excluding the ridings.

We had lunch in Fantasy Feasts at Fantansyland. The foods were not really taste good but eatable. After that, we went to wacth the Disney Dreams Come True Parade. It's actually a very simple parade, but it's filled with Disney characters, so I really enjoy it a lot.

At the end of the day, there has a fireworks show. It was done above the Sleeping Beauty's Castle. We were on the Main Street and got the best view of it. William managed to capture a lot of nice photos. Both of us loved the fireworks show. The music it so perfect and magical. It's more than fireworks, it was a magical moment that we had at Disneyland.

Hong Kong Trip

William and I went to Hong Kong for vacation from 1st - 9th Nov 2008. This was a wonderful and nice trip. We met friends from Malaysia, Erica and Kok Ming who are also visit Hong Kong during the period. They brought along their cute little daughter, Xuen. Xuen is a cute and energetic girl.

I want to thanks Kim again here. He is really a great friend. He purposely came to Hong Kong from China and spent a night with us. He also treated us one night stay in Grand Hyatt Hotel and a very delicious crab meal. Until now I still miss the taste of the crab (Pi Fong Tong Fried Crab).

Beside meeting friends in Hong Kong, I also did a lot shopping there. When we went to Hong Kong, we only brought one suit case. But when we back to Malaysia become two suit cases which the new one is 28 inch ler.. The price for clothes in the outlets such as G2000, Espirit was really cheap. I can't match the price in Malaysia.

We also visited few interest places in Hong Kong Island, Stanley and Lantau Island. We had a romantic dinner at the Peak and had fun in Madame Tussauds. I found out that the celebrities in Madame Tussauds are not as many as I expect. We met an India guy who lived in California at the Peak while we were taking the night scene of Hong Kong. He shared with us on his new bought wide len. With the len, he can take photo in more wide range. We also went to few markets such as women street, apliu street and stanley market. The markets really look exactly what was showed in TVB series.

We took the Ngong Ping 360 cable car to Lantau Island and visit the Buddha and the temple. We took at least 45 mins in the cable car to reach the Buddha. The scenery along the journey to the Buddha was nice and beauty. After visited the Buddha, we want to take a bus to go Tai O fish village. While waiting the bus comes, we met a france family who also plan to go Tai O fish village. The son was working in Hong Kong Wine industry. After waited for half an hour, we decided to take a taxi to Tai O fish village. We shared the taxi with the france family. I only know that Hong Kong taxi actually can fetch 5 persons exclude the driver. When reached Tai O fish village, we took a boat and went out to the sea. How lucky we are! We saw pink dolphin in the sea. So nice!

Hong Kong Trip - Ocean Park (2nd Nov 2008)

This was a amazing and fun trip to Ocean Park. The day we visited Ocean Park was the last day for Halloween Bash Party. The party began on 5.30pm until midnight. We decided to visit the Halloween Bash Party as well as Ocean Theme Park. When I had first arrived around 9am (seeing the beginnings of Halloween decorations being put up), I realized that the Hong Kongis do really celebrate Halloween.

We started our exploration from the main entrance. Along the way to the Kid World, we saw Halloween decorations in the entire park such as webbing, artificial fog/smoke and pumpkins. We took some photos in the Kid World including the Spooky Castle which we didn't expected the castle was opened on the day time.

After that, we took the cable car to the Marine land which located on the headland. We went to the Ocean Theater for the show "Sea Dreams!" - an inspirational aquatic adventure featuring a stellar cast of sea lions, dolphins and trainers. Then we continue our journey to the Sea Jelly Spectacular, the Pacific Pier to see the seals and sea lions and the Atoll Reef which has been designed with Indo-Pacific Coral Island theme. Chinese Sturgeon Aquarium also provided me a great experience with this China national treasure and learn more about their habitat and behavior. We also paid a visit to Ocean Park Tower enjoying the stunning view of South China Sea.

After that we took the cable car went down to the lowland garden. We paid a visit to The Hong Kong Jockey Club Giant Panda Habitat. We saw the Giant Pandas Le Le, Ying Ying, An An and Jia Jia there. When we arrived, Giant Pandas talk was just started. The speaker talked about the history and characteristic of each Giant Panda. An An is the most active Giant Panda among the fours. He is really cute especially when he ate the bamboos. Then we went to Sky Fair for the show. After the show it was around 5.30pm, I realized that the crowds was increased. The haunted attractions for Halloween Bash Party were just begun.

We passed through the Subterranean Spiritland to Cable Car Station. It was fun when walked along the Spiritland. Maybe because of the sky still bright so the amotphere of the road was not so scary. We took the cable car back to headland and then we went toward the Tai Shue Wan entrance. We went to Monster Gathering and met actors who dress up in monster/ghost costumes fully made up and looking quite grimacing. They stay in character and roam around the park and open for pictures. I took a lot of photos with the actors. I had also been scared by them. They suddenly pop out of my back and scared me when I was queued to enter the haunted house. I was never really safe of scares as they also play spooky music with shrills, children's laughter, and general halloween scary sounds. But I had a lot of fightfully fun moments in this Halloween Bash Party.

Due to the time constraints, we only managed to visit some of the haunted attractions such as Ghastly Entertainment City, Spooky Radio Station, The Canton Case, Deconstruction zone, The next super undead, The tomb of Doom, Shocks' n Shots Zone, the shows such as Devil Judger and the demon wedding ceremony. The shows were great and amazing.
